We’re pleased to introduce you to Lifeline’s new Family & Addictions Counsellor, Noah Star. Noah comes to us with a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, as well as extensive experience treating addiction. We recently asked Noah to answer a few quick questions so that the Lifeline community could have the opportunity to get to know him a little better.
What made you want to get into this line of work?
I just fell into it. What I discovered is that I had a passion and talent for helping people.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
I’m a creative individual, and I like to pick up different disciplines. I'm currently teaching myself to draw. Before that, I was very into photography.
What is the most rewarding part of your job?
What makes me smile is when I see clients trying something for the first time and really giving it a go.
