PARTNERS, ADULT CHILDREN, FAMILY MEMBERS OF ADDICTS (23 AND OVER)
At Lifeline, we see addiction as a family disease: when one member of the family is struggling, it affects each and every other member. If your partner or an adult member of your family is dealing with addiction, we urge you to reach out and get the support you need to best navigate the situation, while making sure that your own needs and concerns are not marginalized or outright ignored.
Our group workshops and Family Counselling services can equip you with the tools you need to establish healthy boundaries and communicate more effectively, while recognizing what is and is not within your power to control.
HOW TO START
The first step to accessing our free family support services is to give us a call at 514-738-7700. Our first response team will ask for some basic information in order to complete a Request for Service form.
Once the request has been completed, you can expect a call within a week from one of our Family Counsellors, who will help you assess your situation and determine which of our family services best meets your needs.
