ADDICTS (23 AND OLDER)
INDIVIDUAL COUNSELLING
Our Addiction Counsellors work one-on-one with clients through the intake and screening process, the formulation of a treatment plan, and weekly individual counselling sessions and group support.
GROUP SUPPORT
Through our group sessions, our counsellors create a warm and supportive environment tailored to assist individuals on their recovery journey. This group work empowers clients to embrace sharing, learning, and personal growth, allowing them to integrate into our community as we work together to create a space for support, healing, and connection.

COMPREHENSIVE FAMILY CARE
If you are struggling with addiction, Lifeline can also provide support for your family members, partners, and children.
PLEASE NOTE
Lifeline’s services are delivered on an outpatient basis, meaning that we do not offer inpatient (residential) service. However, our counsellors can help you determine whether inpatient or outpatient services are more appropriate for your situation.
Lifeline does not provide detox services. If you require detox, a good option is to contact the CHUM Evaluation Clinic at 514-890-8321. And if you currently feel unsafe, please do not hesitate to call 911.

*Our clinical team strongly recommends that individuals seeking counselling for sex and/or pornography addiction begin with an assessment performed by our affiliate CSAT (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist), Jennifer Kotry. Please call us at 514-738-7700 for more information.
HOW TO START
The first step to accessing our free and immediate services is to give us a call at 514-738-7700. Our first response team will ask for some basic information in order to complete a Request for Service form.
Once this is completed, our services begin with you attending one of our two weekly Open Speaker group meetings, which provide a warm and non-judgmental introduction to the work we do at Lifeline.
After the meeting, simply inform the meeting facilitator or front desk worker that you’d like to continue with individual counselling, and a member of our clinical team will contact you within 1-2 days.
Important note: our clinical team highly recommends that individuals seeking counselling for sex and/or pornography begin with an assessment performed by our affiliate CSAT (Certified Sex Addiction Therapist), Jennifer Kotry. Please call us at 514-738-7700 for more information.
