Lifeline's outreach program regularly takes us into the classrooms of high schools, colleges, and universities. Recently, we spoke to students at McGill University's Psychiatry Department about the signs, symptoms, and effects of addiction. The response was overwhelming, and we received this wonderfully gracious thank-you from the Professor:

"Thank you, Chabad Lifeline, for coming to present to my Issues in Drug Dependence class at McGill University yesterday. The combination of speakers, Rabbi B, Ivan, and the guest speaker with lived experience, was a powerful and effective way to communicate the real struggles of addiction to university students. While we have spent the semester exploring the neurobiology of addiction, this session powerfully highlighted the emotional, social, and personal realities of living with the disorder and recovery

I have never seen the class so engaged and captivated by a presentation. In addition, this visit provided a valuable platform to inform the university community about the important services offered by Chabad Lifeline. Thank you again, and I hope we can count on you to join us again next year.

Best wishes,
