"Hello,

I wanted to take a moment to express my deep appreciation for the impact your organization has had on both my life and my son B. As a single parent with an extremely demanding job, I reached a point where I felt I had lost my son somewhere along the way. His struggle with screen addiction was overwhelming, and when I once turned off the Wi-Fi, his reaction was so intense and aggressive that I barely recognized him.

At that point, we contacted 811 and began using crisis center services through our local CLSC. A social worker came to our home weekly for months. While the aggression eventually decreased, B’s participation was low, and I didn’t see meaningful progress.

A friend then referred me to your services, and that is truly when our journey began to change. I was so happy to have these services offered free of charge after spending a substantial amount of money on therapists who could not connect with my son. The wait time was also so minimal that, after contacting your organization, I had a meeting within less than a week.

I first met Linda, the parent coach, and completed two extensive parenting courses with her. She was kind, available, and helped me recognize that I also had work to do. For the first time, I felt less alone in a world that often feels impossible to understand. Kids today face challenges so different from those of my own childhood.

Through Linda, we were referred to Ivan—and this is where B’s real progress began. While we still navigate his screen addiction, we now have clearer boundaries, more understanding, and greater accountability. Brandon embraces his meetings with Ivan and genuinely cares about the outcome.

As a mother, nothing is more meaningful than seeing my son receive the help he truly needs. I cannot fully express how grateful I am for what your organization has given us.

With sincere appreciation,"

A
