GROUP AND MEETING DESCRIPTIONS

8 WEEK PARENTING WORKSHOP
This workshop is for parents concerned about at-risk or destructive behaviors in their children.


O.A. OVEREATERS ANONYMOUS
This weekly meeting is for men and women who wish to share experiences, strength and hope with each other so that they may solve common problems and help others to recover from an eating disorder.


MEN'S CODA
Provides a fellowship of men whose common purpose is to develop healthy relationships. The only requirement for membership is the desire for healthy and loving relationships.


MARIJUANA ANONYMOUS
This weekly meeting is for men and women who wish to share their experience, strength and hope with each other so that they may solve common problems and issues and help others to recover from addiction to marijuana.


S-ANON
S-Anon is a program of recovery for those who have been affected by someone else`s sexual behavior.S-Anon is based on the 12-Steps and the 12-Traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous.The primary purpose of S-Anon is to recover from the effects upon us of another person`s sexaholism,and to help families and friends of sexaholics.


GROUP DYNAMICS FOR FAMILIES
This weekly meeting is for family members and friends of addicts. Living with and loving an addict can be overwhelming. This group offers support by giving family members and friends the chance to share with others that are going through similar circumstances; to listen and learn from each other and grow. Family members also live in isolation and shame and need the support available at this group.


G.A. GAMBLERS ANONYMOUS
This weekly meeting is for men and women who wish to share experiences, strength and hope with each other so that they may solve common problems and help others to recover from an gambling addiction.


SURVIVORS OF INCEST ANONYMOUS
This weekly meeting is for men and women who wish to share experiences, strength and hope with each other so that they may solve common problems and help others to recover from a incest and childhood sexual abuse.


OPEN SPEAKER MEETING
This meeting for addicts of any substance and behaviour allows participants to share freely their experiences. The format of the meeting involves a speaker who tells his or her story of recovery which is followed by group discussion. This meeting is open to people not suffering from an addiction.


EMOTIONS ANONYMOUS
This meeting exists to support individuals with emotional difficulties in their efforts to live a more manageable life by using the Emotions Anonymous Program of recovery.


SEXAHOLIC'S ANONYMOUS
Sexaholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover.

 

COCAINE ANONYMOUS
Cocaine Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from their addiction. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using cocaine and all other mind-altering substances.


DIALECTICAL BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY GROUP
DBT is a skills-based therapeutic approach that aims to support people in regulating high or intensive emotions by changing unhelpful behavioural and cognitive patterns.
